Mere moments after the cat was officially set amongst the pigeons and we waved goodbye to this year’s triumphant traitorous twosome; I come bearing some really rather wonderful news. It turns out that the cloak-shaped hole that’s been left in our lives won’t remain empty for long. Because this morning, Studio Lambert and Neal Street Productions revealed that they’ll be plucking the Oscar-worthy performances, questionable spelling, and outrageously high-camp drama straight from our screens and plonking them all onto a West End stage next year. Yes, really…
‘The Traitors’ stage show will boast a script by John Finnemore (who has some pretty impressive radio comedy credentials) and direction from Robert Hastie (who has won multiple awards for his work on musicals, including Operation Mincemeat and Standing at the Sky’s Edge). So it’s safe to say that we’re in good hands here.

With last week’s season 4 finale episode attracting over 10 million viewers, it’s likely that plenty of people will be wanting to get their hands on tickets to the stage adaptation of The Traitors. And whilst there are currently no specific details regarding dates, cast, and location; we will – of course – keep you posted the moment we know. You can also keep your eyes peeled here.
Stephen Lambert, chief executive at Studio Lambert, said: “Taking The Traitors from screen to stage is a hugely exciting next step for this much-loved brand. Partnering with Neal Street Productions, a true theatrical powerhouse, allows us to reimagine the show as a bold and surprising theatrical performance. Faithful fans should expect an intense, joyful night out as we reveal a thrilling new hunting ground for our Traitors.”
Caro Newling, co-founder of Neal Street Productions, said: “In developing The Traitors for the stage, Neal Street and Studio Lambert have curated a team of brilliant faithful theatre-makers led by director Rob Hastie and write John Finnemore to bring a bold, structural twist to the format that only the live medium can provide.”
