Walking on the beaches, looking at the peaches rest of the crowd at the London Roundhouse, is it? Yes – that is very much what the end of autumn will look like in Camden as The Stranglers have announced a full UK tour with support from fellow punk legends Buzzcocks.
The tour marks a whopping 51 years on the road for The Stranglers, who are still going strong since forming in 1974 and will be playing the Roundhouse on October 31 and November 1. These shows will close the tour that also sees them play dates in Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Bristol, and Brighton.
Speaking in a post on Instagram, the band wrote: “They say ‘making it to a goal is one thing, but making it further is even better’. We are thrilled to announce The Stranglers ’51’ UK Tour. Fifty one years on the road and still going strong. Plus special guests @the_official_buzzcocks”
The Stranglers last played London in March 2024, when they took to the stage at the city’s iconic Royal Albert Hall.
