The Lumineers earlier this week revealed a plethora of acts set to join them for their biggest ever UK headline show at Crystal Palace on Saturday July 8, as part of their ‘BRIGHTSIDE World Tour’ – which also hits Dublin, Edinburgh, Berlin, Milan and more. Rag‘n’Bone Man, Ella Henderson, Billie Marten and David Kushner are all down to join the Grammy Award-nominated band at South London’s original home of outdoor live music.
The tour itself celebrates The Lumineers’ fourth studio album, BRIGHTSIDE, which was released back in early 2022 to rave reviews from music critics and punters alike across the board. As well as music from this particular chart-topping album, they’ll also be playing tunes from their predecessors ‘III’ (2019), ‘Cleopatra’ (2016), and their title LP ‘The Lumineers’ (2012).
They’ll be joined by the likes of Ella Henderson – who has over a billion streams to her name, a number one album and seven UK top tens – as well as Billie Martin – whose latest album ‘Drop Cherries’ was released earlier this year to major acclaim.
Not to mention David Kushner – an American singer and songwriter who gained global recognition when song ‘Miserable Man’ went viral on TikTok in 2022 – and Rag’n’Bone Man – a multi-platinum artist whose latest studio album ‘Life By Misadventure’ was one of the biggest selling albums of 2021 that raced to number one in the UK Albums Charts.
The event is one of a series of being hosted at Crystal Palace Park – the original home of outdoor live music in South London – this Summer, with many more set to be announced. The site is steeped in musical history – having a 60+ year heritage of live music and hosted legends such as Pink Floyd and Bob Marley – and will bring London only more unforgettable moments in 2023 and beyond.
