But do you know what’s even better? When that sandwich is absolutely free! And Sandwich Sandwich is providing the goods this week, as they give away 100s of free sandwiches to hungry Londoners.
Sandwich Sandwich has joined forces with Heinz on a monstrously messy new sandwich creation. They’ve teamed up to bring us the Birria Beef Sandwich. And this Friday, August 7, they’re giving away 500 of the sandwiches – completely for free!
The new creation smashes together the ultra-viral worlds of enormous sandwiches and drippy birria tacos. It’s packed with “slow-cooked pulled beef birria, Manchego cheese, crispy onions, lime and queso crème fraîche, Heinz Chipotle Mayonnaise, cucumber, rocket, coriander and diced white onion.” And, per the birria tradition, each sandwich comes with a pot of the birria consommé for dipping.
How to get a free lunch from Sandwich Sandwich
Sandwich Sandwich will be giving away the free sandwiches from 12pm on Friday, August 7, from its Mark Lane location.
There are no forms to fill out or virtual tickets to grab. From 12pm, the first 500 customers through the doors will receive a free Birria Beef Sandwich.
Sandwiches will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis. So you might want to turn up early to ensure you get a free lunch!
As part of the giveaway, Sandwich Sandwich is turning its Mark Lane flagship shop, which is the UK’s biggest sandwich shop, into an enormous indoor picnic. We’re talking artificial grass, trees, picnic blankets, live music, and complimentary drinks.
If you miss out on the sandwich giveaway, the Birria Beef creation will be on the menu for one month across all Sandwich Sandwich locations in London and Bristol. Be sure not to miss out on the beef-y behemoth of a sandwich!
