Sandwich Sandwich have quickly become the spot for a sarnie in the city. And believe me, they have some stiff competition. Icons down in Bristol for long before they set foot in the capital, it didn’t take long for Londoners to understand the Sandwich Sandwich hype. These legends opened their first London shop last year, and crowds flocked from far and wide to queue for their famously giant sandwiches. And now there’s a new Sandwich Sandiwich shop coming to the capital – and it’s going to be the biggest sandwich shop in the UK.
Where is the new location and when does it open?
You’ll find Sandwich Sandwich’s new supersized store at 70 Mark Lane, near Fenchurch Street station. It will occupy a whopping 3,500 square feet of space, which may sound absolutely bloody massive but – as we may have mentioned – these are absolutely bloody massive sandwiches. So, if anyone was going to open up the biggest sandwich shop in the UK, it was going to be Sandwich Sandwich. The new store will be flinging open its doors next week – on March 17. And we are so (b)ready for it.
