A uma curta distância a pé de Theatreland – e por detrás de uma fachada municipal unívoca – encontra-se a piscina exterior do Oasis Sports Centre. Tem 27,5 m de comprimento e é aquecida, com espaço suficiente para apanhar sol. Passando por Greenwich e Blackheath, dirija-se a Charlton, onde encontrará esta brilhante piscina de 50 metros no Hornfair Park, aquecida a uma temperatura confortável. 6. Tooting Bec Lido, Tooting
Este subúrbio do sul de Londres possui a maior piscina de água doce do Reino Unido – tem uns impressionantes 91 metros de comprimento. Os cubículos coloridos para troca de roupa também são um toque engraçado. Está aberta das 7h às 14h em abril, antes de passar para o horário das 6h às 20h até ao final de agosto, com a entrada a custar £9,40 para adultos (embora apenas £5,20 para crianças).
