This Peter Rabbit tea is almost too cute to eat. Almost.
Before a boy wizard tumbled out of a cupboard under the stairs and captivated the world, our most famous Potter was Beatrix, creator of beloved children’s characters. And whilst Mr Potter was blessed with an afternoon tea a while back, poor Beatrix had been bereft of a worthy offering – until this gorgeous Peter Rabbit-themed afternoon tea came hopping along.

The brainchild of the good folks over at The Terrace on Piccadilly, the Peter Rabbit afternoon tea is pretty as a picture. Served on a slate planter, you can dive into sandwiches, mini baguettes, and a smoked salmon and sundried tomato pinwheel. All rather delicious, and we haven’t even reached the sweet stuff yet!

A selection of cute pastries include the Flower-Pot Hideout, which features chamomile mousse inside an edible chocolate pot. Meanwhile, the appropriately-named Magnificent Mushroom is a meringue stem topped with a dome of strawberry ganache. And obviously, carrot cake is on the menu, in the form of Every Bunny’s Favourite. With fresh scones and jam also included, this tea is definitely one to rabbit on about…
