NOBU Shoreditch, the swanky hotel in east London, serves a boozy brunch with bottomless sushi and prosecco.
Nobu Shoreditch serves a bottomless brunch like you’ve never seen before. Help yourself to an endless assortment of sushi and sashimi from the colourful buffet bar, as well as a selection of salads and other cold items, including fresh fruit and Asian-style desserts. And, as you fill up your plate, staff will fill and refill your glass with your choice of prosecco, Aperol Spritz or mimosa. (? by @xlopatax)
While the buffet bar features all the classics, like California Rolls and Nigiri, the dessert bar is filled with everything from matcha macarons to yuzu chocolate muffins.
You’ll also get a main of your choice from the incredible list of hot dishes, including Rock Shrimp Tempura with a creamy, spicy sauce, or Skirt Steak Hobayaki with either anticucho or teriyaki sauce (both excellent choices, if you ask me). They’ve even tried to replicate some of our usual brunch favourites, ‘cept with a brilliant Asian twist. You’ll find Avocado and Prawn Toast with Poached Egg on the menu, as well as Salmon Scrambled Egg Donburi, Banana Soy French Toast and their very own Nobu Eggs Benedict.
Sounds pretty good, doesn’t it? Well, top that with bottomless prosecco, Aperol Spritz or mimosas, and your weekend is looking rather enviable. (Oh and if you’d like a drink but not loads of drinks, their cocktail menu is excellent.)
The boozy brunch will set you back a rather pricey £75, but that includes two hours of bottomless booze, plus a main dish and unlimited access to the sushi and dessert bar. For £45, you can get all of that minus the booze, which is a good option if you’d rather fill your face with sushi than get smashed.
