A stay for you, your boo, and the world’s most famous face.
Eyeing up a stay in the City of Love, but baulking at the price of accommodation? Thankfully, your trip to Paris could be about to get a little cheaper with Airbnb’s latest stunt. To celebrate 30 years of the Louvre’s I. M. Pei-designed Pyramid, the gallery has partnered with Airbnb to offer you the chance to sleep beneath the iconic structure. Just a cosy threesome of you, your chosen beau or pal, and the Mona Lisa.

For one night only, you’ll be let loose (or more likely, carefully supervised) in the gallery, with a whole range of exclusive perks available for your pleasure. First, a VIP guide will take you on a private, after-hours tour of the gallery, usually reserved for world leaders and A-listers. Then, you’re invited into Mona Lisa’s living room for an apéritif – although don’t expect her to make particularly sparkling conversation.

Not to be outshone by your famous host, the Venus de Milo will then invite you to dinner with your own personal chef. The evening continues with an acoustic concert in the apartment of Napoleon III, before you mosey on off to bed under the glass facade of the Pyramid, waking to breakfast in bed. Certainly beats a budget hostel, doesn’t it?
The contest is open until April 12th, and your stay is pre-booked for April 30th. Make sure you’ve got this date clear, and maybe get a little creative too, because you’ll need to explain why you’d be the perfect guest to be in with a chance of winning. Enter here, and just hope the Mona Lisa smiles on your fortunes…
