Dust off your dancing shoes and prepare to have an absolute whale of a time inside the UK’s most-visited tourist attraction. That’s right, folks. The Natural History Museum has released some new dates for their tricera-top notch silent discos – and here’s how you can snap yourself up a ticket.
Silent discos at the Natural History Museum
Party-goers are invited to enter the beloved south Kensington spot from 10pm (long after it has closed its doors to the public) for a night at the museum that they’ll never forget. The Natural History Museum’s chart-topping silent discos have earnt themselves quite an impressive reputation. And having attended one myself, I can confirm that they are worth every morsel of hype that they get.
The main event takes place inside the museum’s utterly gorgeous Hintze Hall – under the watchful eyes (and bones) of the humongous blue whale skeleton, Hope. Guests can head inside the much-loved museum to throw some (silent) shapes to a stelar soundtrack.

Three DJs will be battling it out; simultaneously plating tracks across three different channels. Disco-goers can don a headset, plug themselves in, flick through the channels to find their favourite, and dance the night away.
There will be a fully-stocked bar on site throughout the night, keeping gets well-fueled and hydrated. And guests need not worry about feeling too old to attend. Because compared to the surrounding fossils; they’ll feel like a spring chicken.
The Natural History Museum‘s silent discos take place monthly, and a whole host of new dates have recently been released. The upcoming disco dates are May22, June 26, July 31, August 14, and August 28. Two dates in August – aren’t we lucky? Tickets do tend to sell out pretty fast, so we’d recommend you securing your sooner rather than later.
