Disco divas, dancing queens, and – quite frankly – anybody who fancies having a party on the pavements of London anytime soon, listen up. Two of my favourite activities (gawping at lovely London landmarks and having a good old boogie, of course) have been seamlessly blended together to create what might just be the most unique way to see the sights of the capital city: a silent disco walking tour.
That’s right, folks. Armed with a state-of-the-art headset (provided by the team) and some warmed-up vocal chords (which you’ll need to provide yourself, I’m afraid), you can embark on a magical walking tour through the streets of the city, guided by a larger-than-life host and an iconic soundtrack in your ears. Sounds pretty darn perfect, right?

Silent Disco Walking Tours
The team at Silent Disco Walking Tours have created a selection of all-singing, all-dancing tours. There’s a West End Musical Tour, a Drag Queen Disco Diva Tour, and – for the festive season – there’ll also be a magical London Christmas Lights Tour. Each tour is filled to the brim with fun-filled facts, an even more fun-filled playlist, and a whole host of opportunities for you to sing and dance like nobody (or everybody) is watching. Each to their own, and all that…
The West End Musical Tour will take participants on a wonderful walk through the heart of the London’s Theatreland, underscored by a showstopping medley of show-tunes. The Drag Queen Disco Diva Tour will allow you to unleash your inner superstar and experience the very best of London’s vibrant drag scene, all whilst listening to the likes of Gaga, Kylie, Madonna, and – of course – Cher. The Christmas Lights Tour does what it says on the tin, really. You’ll be guided through the city’s best and brightest festive light displays. And your Christmas spirit will soar at the sight of London aglow with twinkly lights and tinsel and the sound of your favourite Christmas classics.

Silent Disco Walking Tours have been ranked the number one walking tour in London, and have also earned themselves one of Tripadvisor’s shiny Travellers Choice Awards (who named their West End tour the second best pop culture tour in the world). So you’ll certainly be in good hands.
Shaun Ames, Founder of Silent Disco Walking Tours, said: “When the headsets go on, something magical happens – people light up. We’ve seen families bond, colleagues let lose, and complete strangers leave as friends. That’s what we’re here for: joy, connection, and memories you’ll never forget.”
The Silent Disco Walking Tours take places at selected times throughout the week, and tickets start from £29.50 per person. From October 20 to November 2, you can get one free child ticket with every full paying adult ticket you buy. Find out more and book your tour here.
