Laki Kane sadly had to close down their original site in Islington, but after some time away from the city, they’re back, baby! And they’re returning with a bang as they open right by Bond Street station on April 2 – that’s tomorrow, folks! And they’ll be celebrating all month long.
Across opening weekend, they’re offering up 50% off food to all diners. And after that, they’ll be slinging free drinks to guests all through April. But there’s just one twist – you need to know the secret password!
Laki Kane
The new cocktail destination is opening up just off Oxford Street, making it an ultra-convenient rum-drinking destination in the middle of the city. They’re partnering up with the team behind venues like Burlock Rum Bar and Lucy Wong, which is a surefire recipe for a corker of a new opening.
The new venue will also be a much-needed addition to London’s late-night offerings, with a late license that will see them staying open until 3am on Fridays and Saturdays! Laki Kane’s new site will feature a dancefloor, a club atmosphere, a rum-led cocktail offering, and flavoursome Thai-inspired food.
As if that wasn’t enough, they’re also bringing back Laki Kane’s “Spirit of Tiki Brunch, rum tasting experiences, rum-making workshops, and cocktail masterclasses.”
But wait, there’s (even) more! If you’re ordering food, you’ll get the chance to play a custom in-house slot machine. Lucky winners who match 3 symbols will receive their entire meal for free! Even if you don’t get a complimentary dinner, there are also free shots and cocktails up for grabs.
How to get a free cocktail
There are 5,000 complimentary cocktails up for grabs throughout April, after opening weekend. Available between 5-7pm from April 6-30, the free drinks are limited to one per person.
But don’t worry, Laki Kane isn’t making it hard to get a free drink. There are no apps to download, forms to fill in, or websites to visit. Instead, all you need is the secret password.
When you visit, simply say to your server or bartender, “Get Lucky at Laki”, and you’ll nab yourself a drink on the house.
