As we move our way deeper into July, an immense ocassion looms up ahead in the near future: the summer school break. And parents are set to scramble to find ways to keep their kids entertained, happy, and cool in these heat waves, without emptying their savings account. Fortunately, a new dining initiative will make the summer much more affordable, with more than 200 restaurants around the country announcing that kids eat for free this summer in their venues.
While the UK government recently announced a UK-wide tax cut, one hospitality group is going even further to provide some economic relief. The Big Table Group, which operates hundreds of venues around the country, is serving up FREE children’s meals, EVERY day of the summer.
It’s a particularly impressive offer, given the family-friendly nature of the hospitality group’s venues. They include kid-approved favourites such as Bella Italia, Frankie & Benny’s, Las Iguanas, and more.
The dining deal will be a massive relief for many families around the country. The Big Table Group expects that “the initiative will enable thousands of families to enjoy affordable meals together during one of the most expensive times of the year.”
Kids eat for free
Across all of the UK’s Bella Italia, Frankie & Benny’s, Banana Tree, Las Iguanas, and Chiquito locations, families can treat themselves to a completely free children’s meal with every adult main course purchased. The offer encompasses a complete meal, with a main course, sides, dessert, and a drink included.
Kids eat for free at participating venues every single day (yes, weekends too!) from July 20 – September 1.
As well as the complimentary children’s meals, many of the restaurants are launching their own further promotions. These are in addition to the existing free kids’ meals.
Frankie & Benny’s is giving free ice cream to guests when purchasing a main meal. They’re also inviting diners to return, with 25% of all food on their second visit, and 50% off all food on their third visit until the end of October.
Bella Italia is running a similar promotion, with free gelato for all guests when purchasing a main meal. And they’re slashing prices, with 25% off all food on a second visit and 50% off all food when you return for a third visit until the end of October.
