London burger chain Honest Burgers are launching limited edition ‘Honest at Home’ kits—and all proceeds will go to charity.
The kits will allow you to recreate their famous burgers in your kitchen; sending you everything you need for four of their classic Honest burgers. That includes:
4x chopped British chuck steak and rib cap patties, 4x British cheddar slices, Honest’s homemade red onion relish and pickles, 4x Turner & George smoked bacon rashers and 4x Honest burger buns.
There will be no set price for these burger kits, although they’re worth about £35. Instead, Honest are asking for an ‘honesty box’ donation, where all profits will go directly to three charities: The Trussell Trust, a network of food banks around the UK; Hospitality Action, who provide financial and emotional support for hard hit hospitality workers; and Landworkers’ Alliance, who provide safety gear to farmers so they can get back into production.
Honest have partnered with Turner & George who are not only providing the bacon for the burgers, but are also delivering these kits to customers, for no charge.
Honest are no stranger to goodness. They have also supported frontline workers by making use of the leftover food in their restaurants and delivering meals to nearby hospitals, charities and food banks. They also used up all the fresh ingredients in their central Honest kitchen to cook around 4,000 ready meals, including wild garlic pesto lasagne, Honest beef cottage pie and bolognese. These were delivered to London charity City Harvest, who distribute food to those who need it most.
The ‘Honest at Home’ kits are available to all Greater London postcodes and can be purchased from 11am on Monday, April 20. The kits will be delivered between April 21-25.
