Considering the current state of the weather here in London, I might be marginally jumping the gun here, folks – but spring is on it’s way. The longer days, the sunshine, the prospect of not having to cling on to a hot water bottle for dear life. It’s all (very nearly) within touching distance. And with the arrival of spring comes the arrival of some shiny new flight routes from Heathrow Airport. So, even if the weather doesn’t decide to cooperate any time soon, at least we now have even more options when it comes to hotfooting it out of the capital city.
London’s largest airport has recently revealed the rather impressive line-up of flights that are preparing for take off this year. The new flight routes in question come courtesy of various different airlines and some of them are launching next month.

From culture-vultures to sun-seekers and everything in between; there’s sure to be a destination for everyone among the new routes. The most exciting new addition comes in the form of the UK’s only direct flight to St. Louis. Londoners really will be able to meet people in St. Louis from April onwards, and this marks the first time a flight has soared directly from London Heathrow to the major US city. Another highly anticipated new route swill whizz passengers directly from Heathrow to Phuket in Thailand for the first time since 2022.
There are thirteen new flight routes set to launch from London Heathrow Airport in 2026, each of which continues to solidify the airport’s long-standing role as a major aviation hub for global travel.
