Down in the park this summer, you’ll get to witness a huge Gary Numan show. He’s the latest artist to be announced as a headliner for the new series of gigs, Palace Bowl Presents, which takes place through the first two weeks of August.
The Tubeway Army icon is taking to the stage at Crystal Palace Bowl on Thursday, August 6, topping the lineup which also features a special guest appearance from Marc Almond, who will be ‘performing the songs of Soft Cell and solo hit’, as well as a slot for Ladytron.

Gary Numan performed in London last year in November, taking to the Hammersmith Apollo for the 45th anniversary celebration of his 1980 album, Telekon. Expect to hear the likes of Cars, Are Friends Electric?, Down In The Park, and more from his huge back catalogue when he takes to the Crystal Palace Bowl this summer.
When do tickets to see Gary Numan at Crystal Palace Bowl go on sale?
Tickets to see Gary Numan this summer go on general sale this Friday, February 20 at 10am. There will also be pre-sales taking place in the week, starting with early access through the artist and O2 Priority from Wednesday, February 18 at the same time.
What else is on at Palace Bowl Presents in London this summer?
Palace Bowl Presents began announcing their first events for this summer earlier this month, kicking off with the news that Bastille & The Wombats would co-headline a gig on Thursday, August 13. They followed this up with the announcement of The Gospel Garden festival on Sunday, August 2, with Kirk Franklin, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Fred Hammond, and more taking to the bowl for a summer celebration.
There are three events announced so far, but expect to see more bills confirmed for dates between July 31 and August 16, 2026.
