With sun-filled afternoons and longer days, it can only mean one thing for Londoners: it’s officially festival season. The best part is, we’re only just getting started. Some London festivals such as Brick Lane Jazz, Queens Yard Summer Party and Brixton Disco Festival have already been and gone but don’t you worry, the capital has more than enough festivals and gigs in store for you this summer.
And kicking off this May Bank Holiday is GALA Festival.
GALA festival marked the very first returning outdoor, post-COVID restrictions festival in the city in 2021, it was a celebration to cherish for those who attended. Since then, GALA has continued to grow, becoming one of the first events circled in London’s summer music calendar but also becoming one of the best.
So here’s everything you need to know about GALA festival.
