It’s just been announced that comedy royalty, Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders, will grace one of London’s most legendary stages later this year. The oh-so popular pair will reunite on a west end stage for the first time in 17 years in the London Palladium 2026 pantomime, Cinderella. Oh, yes they will!
Having been making the nation giggle for over forty years now, the dynamic duo are no stranger to the stage. Both have starred in previous pantomimes across the country, but this will be the first time they’ll join forces in the west end in nearly two decades. And they’ll be starring as one of the most terrifically terrible twosomes in theatre; the ugly sisters.
Hailed London’s most spectacular pantomime, the Palladium panto is now in its 11th season and continues to get bigger, better, and a bolder each and every year. French and Saunders will join the likes of Julian Clary, Paul Zerdin, Nigel Havers, and Rob Madge in the beloved rags-to-riches fairytale that’s produced by Crossroads Pantomimes (the world’s biggest panto producer).

Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders said: “We have wished to play the Ugly Sisters for so many years, it feels this is the fulfilment of a dream – a dream our hearts made. Watch out. It won’t be pretty.”
Michael Harrison, producer of the London Palladium pantomime, said: “Last year’s production of Sleeping Beauty broke all records at the London Palladium. We always want to raise the bar for our incredibly panto audiences each year, so I’m absolutely delighted that Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders will be starring in this year’s Cinderella. Having two of the nation’s most beloved comedy icons together on the Palladium stage is incredibly exciting. Their legendary chemistry and razor-sharp humour will make this a truly special experience for audiences.”
Cinderella will run at the London Palladium from December 5, 2026 to January 10, 2027. Find out more, plan your visit, and sign up for priority booking here.
