If a Canadian tuxedo is when you wear a denim jacket and jeans at the same time, what’s it called when you rock a full fit of Five Guys merch? Because that could well be a possibility coming to Instagram feeds and Five Guys tables near you as the beloved burger chain drops their own branded threads. Finally you can have wear your cake burger, and eat it too.
Hot on the back of the resurgence of Americana-influenced fashion, Five Guys is throwing their own products into the fashion discourse. They’re dropping embroidered varsity jackets, graphic tees, branded sweatshirts, beanies, baseball caps, and even socks. Paying homage to the history of the chain, pieces reference the founding location of Arlington Virginia that started back in 1986. They come (obviously) in the brand’s instantly recognisable red, white, and black colourways, and there may even be more on the way.
What’s next? Five Guys sweats? Heavy metal tees with the Five Guys branding? Five Guys underwear? Surely there has to be a sneaker collab coming too?
