Have you ever been tucking into a meal only to feel two eyes staring up at you in hopes of being given a bite? Dog-owners will be all too familiar with the feeling of wanting to share their meal with their furry friend but not being able to – especially when it’s an elaborate meal like a Sunday roast. Until now, that is, thanks to a new Sunday roast for dogs at Battersea brunch spot, The Farmer’s Mistress.
The Farmer’s Mistress typically serves up brunch, but they’re launching an all-new Sunday menu this January. And, yes, it includes a special doggy roast so you can spoil your furry friend.
The Sunday roast for dogs treats your canine companion to a choice of roast beef or chicken, served with peas, carrots, baked potato, broccoli, cabbage, and seeds. It even comes topped with a special salt-free beef bone gravy! You’ll both need a walk after that.
Oh, and of course they’ve got roasts for us humans, too. It’s the first time The Farmer’s Mistress has offered roasts, but they’re starting strong with four different options to choose from – Beef Rump Cap, Chicken, Pork Loin, and a vegan Nut Roast Tart – each served with all the trimmings and starting at just £22. There’s also a kids-sized offering and a stonking bottomless Sunday Roast deal.
Bottomless Sunday Roasts
Lest your furry friend has all the fun, The Farmer’s Mistress has also launched a bottomless Sunday Roast offering. But this bottomless offering is a little more comprehensive than others. They’re not just doling out endless Yorkies or mountains of roast potatoes. The whole roast is bottomless. That means endless meats, a bottomless supply of trimmings, and giant yorkies. All that can be yours for 90 minutes for just £32 per person!
You can also accent your bottomless roast with bottomless drinks to make it a never-ending procession of food and drinks. Tack on an hour of bottomless bubbles for £20 each, or get bottomless cocktails for an hour for £27.50 a head. If you’re opting for cocktails you can choose from the Bloody Mary, Winter Spritz, or Hard Pear Lemonade.
You’ll find The Farmer’s Mistress at 300 Battersea Park Road, SW11 3BU. The nearest station is Clapham Junction.
