Easter is just a few weeks away, and our mouths are already watering in anticipation of the food and drink that will come with it. After all, what is an Easter celebration without tasty treats, shared with friends and family? Home to over 6,000 authentic Italian products in their market, Eataly London is the perfect place to browse for delicious food for any occasion. But this year, they’ve launched their first-ever Easter range featuring over 60 products, along with a range of Easter menu specials across their restaurants.
In the eyes of a foodie, Easter is about chocolate eggs first and foremost. And Eataly London’s new Easter range has a number of irresistible eggs, suitable for every kind of chocolate lover. The Uovo fondente is a layered, crunchy dark chocolate egg filled with rich hazelnut cream, whilst the Uovo al pistachio’s crunchy layered shell is made from milk chocolate and topped with chopped pistachios. There are over 40 eggs to choose from, so you’re sure to have smiles all around when it’s time to crack them open!
As you wander around the market you’ll find mouth-watering sights and smells at every turn. Whether it’s a deluxe hamper for the perfect Easter gift or mini chocolate eggs from Venchi for your Easter egg hunt, there are countless foodie treats to be discovered.
If you’re looking for the perfect dessert to round off a celebratory Easter meal, a beautifully wrapped Colomba is just the thing. Eataly London is home to the largest selection of this traditional Italian Easter cake, with so many flavours to choose from including the four fruit with candied orange peel, cherry peach and apple, as well as raspberry and crunchy dark chocolate drops.
Their onsite eateries are also celebrating the occasion with some exquisite Easter specials. At Terra you can enjoy dishes such as slow cooked lamb shoulder with broccoli, potatoes, grilled vegetables, as well as an Eggstravaganza dessert featuring a yuzu egg, with meringue, chocolate almonds, apple jelly, and coconut crumble. Plus, the limited edition Eas-Tea punch, made of Appleton rum, white Mirto liqueur and Earl Grey tea is the perfect pre or post dinner tipple.
Pasta e Pizza will be serving burrata with asparagus and a truffle dressing, along with a goat’s curd and smoked salmon pizza and a Neapolitan Easter Grain pie with ricotta and candied fruit. You can also find their special Spring Delight cocktail (made of amaretto, Frangelico, vodka, orange juice, cream and pumpkin syrup) at the Central Bar. And be sure to stop by Gran Caffé for a Yellow Chick (chocolate chip vanilla mousse) or a Spring Kiss (a macaron with raspberries and Chantilly cream). Check out all of Eataly’s Easter bits here.
