Can’t decide on dessert? Why not roll the DYCE!
Just kidding, there’s no way I’d leave something as crucial as dessert up to chance. Anyway, Marylebone has a brand new dessert parlour/Instagram magnet, known as DYCE. Opening today (August 2nd) on James Street, DYCE is shockingly, irrevocably, eye-achingly pink – and that’s far from the only eye candy on offer.
Created by chef Zahra Khan – who also founded similarly gorgeous, equally delicious spot Feya – the perfectly pink decor is the first eye-catching thing about DYCE. The interiors are supposed to reflect a melting ice cream, and whilst that’s a bit of a stretch of the imagination, it’s undeniably a e s t h e t i c.
The second thing you’ll notice are the indulgent, camera-ready desserts, which you can also expect to see clogging up your feeds very soon. Every dish at DYCE begins with a base, which is either a doughnut, brownie, or cookie. Atop that, they’ll layer a range of “exhilarating gelato flavours”, and then festoon the creation with all manner of toppings, including vegan and gluten-free options. To quench your thirst, and nudge you even closer to a sugar coma, you can pick up milkshakes and bubble teas.
Expect this one to be absolutely rammed with influencers and ‘gram-lovers – in fact, you could even make it a stop of an Instagrammable foods tour, taking in the likes of these Very Extra churros and this Love Hearts cave. Go forth and harvest those likes!
Location: 27 James Street, Marylebone, W1U 1DX. Nearest station is Bond Street. See it on Google Maps.
