If you’ve got an inkling for classic cars and timeless films, there’s an all-new event on its way to London that celebrates cinema and automobiles from years gone by. The Embassy Gardens Drive-In Cinema will be showcasing back-to-back blockbuster film screenings on Saturday 11th May, allowing Londoners to have an unforgettable drive-in experience in old, classic cars, magically transporting you back to yesteryear.
For one day only, you’ll be able to enjoy beloved films and classic cinema, from The Lion King and Star Wars to Mamma Mia, James Bond, and beyond. Also, thanks to all the fantabulous classic and supercar rentals available, it’ll be more than easy to channel your inner-007.
However, you’re also allowed to bring your own car, and there are some deckchair and ‘bring your own blanket’ tickets available for screenings too, so you don’t have to break the bank to experience these unique screenings and gorgeous classic cars.
Each car is provided with its own wireless speaker, regardless if you decide to rent or bring your own car. The Cinema is the first of several exciting summer events coming up at Embassy Gardens, with a diverse line-up of festivals and events planned throughout the year.
There will also be delicious food and drink will be served by The Alchemist at this must-visit summer special event. From brunch burritos and rolls to delicious flatbreads, burgers, and snacks, fill up on mouth-watering offerings before, during, or after your movie screening.
And since it’s The Alchemist, of course summery cocktails and mocktails will be available for purcase, along with a full bar of both alcohlic and non-alcoholic beverages.
The cinema comes from Duke of London, a family-run classic and super car hub based in West London, specializing in sales, storage, and events, and this one is certainly not to be missed!
