Disney-devotees of the capital city – cancel your weekend plans, immediately. A Pixar party is taking place this weekend, and it’s sure to cause quite a buzz on Oxford Street.
To mark the launch of some shiny new Pixar products; Disney Store is flinging open its Oxford Street doors, and welcoming one-and-all to their unforgettable (and completely free-to-enter) party. It’s what childhood (and – let’s face it – adulthood) dreams are made of.
What to expect at the party
Party guests will not only get to spend the afternoon immersing themselves in wholesome Disney goodness, but they’ll also be among the very first to get their hands on some of the brand new products. The entire store is going to be transformed by Pixar storytellers, filling every inch of it with fun-filled, Pixar-themed activities.
Outside the store, immersive ‘streetmosphere’ performances will be taking place, featuring nods to some of the best-loved Pixar films. Meanwhile, inside the store, guests will find an abundance of pure Pixar pleasure. Party-goers can get creative at the ‘Make Your Own Forky‘ craft table, where both children and adults can let their creative juices flow, and bring the beloved Toy Story 4 character to life.
For the more competitive Pixar-lovers amongst us, there will be the opportunity to race against each other on the Scalextric track, in honour of Cars. And there will also be the chance to embark on an Up!-themed scavenger hunt, taking on the role of an honourary wilderness explorer for the day. IF you fancy a snap to remember the day by, you can pay a visit to the iconic Pizza Planet Truck where they’ll find plenty of selfie and photo opportunities.
On top of the plethora of family-friendly, fun-filled activities; guests can uncover some enchanting treasures to take home with them, in honour of the 15th anniversary Up!, and the highly anticipated release of Inside Out 2.
Clear your diaries and get ready to have the ultimate Sunday funday, Londoners.
