Twice a year, pop music heads around London and beyond are treated to a huge day out filled with some of the biggest artists around. The Christmas jingle bell ball is a while off, but we’re inching ever-closer to Capital’s Summertime Ball, which has just announced its full lineup.
This year, the big old dance will be headlined by Mariah Carey, which will mark the icon’s first concert in London (and indeed, the whole UK) for six years, having last performed at the Royal Albert Hall back in May 2019. The singer was announced yesterday, and the event has just gone ahead and announced Will Smith this morning. He will perform with DJ Jazzy Jeff, and comes alongside the second wave of names.

Those heading to the summertime ball at Wembley Stadium on June 15 will also be able to check out the likes of Lola Young, Jessie J, and Busted vs McFly. How to get tickets to the Capital Summertime Ball
Tickets to Capital’s Summertime Ball go on general sale tomorrow (April 30) at 9am, and will be available via the Global Player application, which is recommended to be downloaded in advance. Barclaycard holders also had access a pre-sale for the event, which commenced today (April 29) at 9am.
