We love a good bottomless dining or drinking option. Whether it’s bottomless brunches, bottomless wine, or bottomless late-night kebabs, sometimes we just want to eat and drink to our heart’s content until simply can’t move. And when it comes at a steal of a price, as is the case with KöD London’s Bottomless Steak Sunday Roast, we love it even more.
Each Sunday, KöD is taking the British Roast and narrowing in, with laser focus, on one aspect of the meal: the beef. They’ve done away with the yorkies and all that extraneous veg and are instead offering up an all-you-can-east roast of tri-tip steak. For just £30pp, a never-ending cavalcade of meat will make its way to your table, accompanied by plenty of Steak Chips à la KöD, Caesar Salad (you know, to keep it healthy!) and Homemade Bearnaise Sauce. They promise that “you will not go home hungry!”
When looking for a great steak, it might not be the obvious choice to opt for a Danish steakhouse. KöD, however, is looking to change that. With a name that translates to ‘meat’ in Danish, and a hefty menu of steaks to choose from, KöD may well become the new favourite of London’s carnivores.
Oh, and by the way, when pronouncing the restaurant name think of the ‘ö’ as being the u-sound in ‘burger’. They’re hardly naming their restaurant after a species of fish after all!
The rest of the menu at KöD
But what if it’s not a Sunday, and you can’t enjoy the Bottomless Steak Sunday Roast? They’ve still got you more than covered.
Diners can choose from the likes of Fillet Steak, Chateaubriand, Ribeye, and even United Kingdom Olive Wagyu, among others. For those less inclined for a hunk of meat, options also include the likes of the Pan-Roasted Stone Bass, KöD Bacon Cheeseburger, and Vegetarian Steak. And definitely match it all with an order of their Steak Chips, Truffle Fries, or one of their salads.
With a wide-ranging menu of wines, from affordable, quaffable sips to special-occasion bottles, there’s plenty to choose from to complement your meal. For the less wine-inclined, the drinks menu also ranges across a selection of beers, soft drinks, cocktails, and more. And if you need a post-steak pick-me-up, they pride themselves on serving coffee that’s just as exceptional as their food.
Special offers
If you fancy splashing some cash, you can even try out a selection of the steakhouse’s best meats with their KöD Experience. For £115, three whopping steaks – including an A4 Wagyu from Japan – will be cooked to perfection, carved in the kitchen, and presented for diners to share. They’ve also got a signature three-course menu for those unable to choose, which presents some of the restaurant’s best dishes with an optional wine pairing. Or if you’re in the area for a quick lunch, you can chow down pronto with their ‘Rapid Ribeye’ offering where your steak comes complete with Steak Chips à la KöD, the Tomato & Basil salad, and your choice of sauce.
And then, on top of all that, there’s also a “danishly delightful” bottomless brunch. Priced at £45, guests can enjoy two hours of free-flowing beer, wine, and Prosecco, with a feast of food that includes the KöD “Benedict” with beef brisket, waffles, plenty of danishes, and more.
All that to say, don’t go to KöD without an appetite – you won’t want to miss out on everything they have to offer.
