There are two types of people at bottomless brunch: those there for the free-flowing cocktails and drinks, and those there for the never-ending food. And Piazza Italiana has launched one for the latter group – particularly the carb-lovers among them. Every Saturday, from June 17 onwards, Piazza Italiana is offering up a bottomless pizza and pasta brunch in the decadent environs of their luxurious Italian restaurant.
This ain’t no chain restaurant serving up frozen pies for £15 a pop, either. Piazza Italiana prides itself on authentic Italian cuisine made with the best seasonal ingredients. And on Saturdays, from 12-4pm, guests will find the Aperol flowing, live DJs pumping music through the venue, and endless plates of fresh pasta and crisp pizza being dished out to tables.
The bottomless pizza and pasta brunch costs just £35pp, and covers a starter, ALL the carbs you can eat, a dessert, and a non-alcoholic cocktail. But, of course, there’s also a bottomless drinks offering, where £59pp adds free-flowing Aperol spritz, prosecco, Bloody Marys, and bellinis to the whole affair. That’s £59 total per person, by the way, not an additional charge on top of the £35. For the extra price of two bougie cocktails, you could enjoy a properly spirited bottomless blowout.
It’s an added bonus that such a boisterous Saturday can be spent in such gorgeous environs. We’re talking high ceilings, ornate chandeliers, columns dotting the room, and vast windows that fill the space with light, all within a grade-II listed building.
Piazza Italiana is already a lauded Italian dining destination. And London is a city with no shortage of great pasta vendors and pizza slingers. Nonetheless, they’ve managed to make a mark in the city with their fine Italian dining experience.
Your first trip may be to try out the bottomless pizza and pasta, but you’re certain to return. With an extensive wine list, Instagram-worthy interiors, and authentic dishes, you’ll want to experience everything the restaurant has to offer.
To take advantage of the offer, reservations are mandatory. Head to the website to secure your booking (and your friend’s free food!).
Piazza Italiana can be found at 38 Threadneedle Street, EC2R 8AY. The nearest stations are Bank and Liverpool Street.
