Beauty-buffs of the capital city, assemble: Boots has recently announced that it will be launching a shiny new store inside Battersea Power Station – and not just any old Boots store – a store entirely dedicated to beauty. Apologies if you were looking for somewhere to grab your lunchtime meal-deal or develop that disposable camera that’s been kicking around under your bed since 2017, but make-up moguls – this one’s for you.
Due to open later this year, this 11,200 square-foot beauty playground will create a new spot for customers to try out and experiment with the newest products and beauty trends. The store will include a supersized beauty studio, complete with a team of dermatologists, beauty advisors and skin-specialising pharmacists who will be on hand to provide visitors with free, personalised, brand-neutral consultations and advice.
With over 250 cosmetics, skincare and haircare brands on offer, this big old beauty hall seems to have come at the perfect time to fill the cavity left by the closure of many department stores in London. The news to open the mega-store in Battersea Power Station follows the rejuvenation of over 170 Boots beauty halls across the UK and Ireland.
The new opening will also feature several female-only, diverse beauty brands as well as some brand new UK-exclusive brands. Cult favourite brands will also be available to purchase and fear not out-of-towners; Boots has announced that they will also be introducing the new products to their online store, so beauty-lovers from all across the UK will be able to purchase the new items.
