And if there’s another thing all of us at Secret London adore, it’s noodles – in all their guises. So naturally, we were overjoyed to find out about Big Bowl Noodle Bar – a charming spot in Holborn that satisfies our never-ending craving for noodles and desire for a great deal.
Don’t be fooled by the relatively unsassuming interiors at this noodle spot – something truly special (and affordable) awaits. And get ready for a BIG meal. At Big Bowl Noodle Bar, you can get bottomless noodles, unlimited toppings, and endless sides, all for just £12.80.
That’s right; for what basically amounts to the cost of two slices of sourdough from a fancy wine bar, you can chow down on a never-ending supply of noodles. Every time you run out, just head back up to the counter for a refill. And thanks to the buffet-style topping bar, you can drown your noodles in as much extra flavour as you want. (Or as much as can fit in the bowl. Fortunately, true to name, they are big bowls!)
On any given day there can be up to 12 main toppings to choose from, such as braised pork, aubergine and potato, and beef brisket. And then there are the sides and extra condiments. These include sauce, scallions, cucumber, marinated garlic, and more.
As if the unlimited food wasn’t enough, there’s also no time limit. You really do get to eat as much as you possibly can! (Psst… Don’t like noodles? They also have rice, so you can make your own rice bowls with all the toppings and sides.)
