Shoreditch Grind, Old Street
Shoreditch is the very first of the Grinds, hitting Old Street roundabout back in 2011. It’s a guaranteed winner for great coffee and cocktails, staying open for up to 18 hours a day. They roast their own coffee just around the corner, and there’s a recording studio upstairs.

Trade, Commercial Street
Trade comes highly recommended by the TripAdvisor community, and this comes as no surprise. Located near Spitalfields Market, this independently owned coffee shop boasts gorgeous interior and a fantastic menu full of spectacular food. They also have a lovely outdoor terrace for when the sun decides to shine!

Grounded is a personal favourite of mine. I used to live in the area and work remotely and, since there was never any chance of me getting any work done at home, I spent many hours in Grounded ordering flat whites and chai lattes.

Tina, We Salute You is somewhat of an east London institution. The cafe is the brainchild of Danny and Steve, who started off selling their cupcakes at a stall on Brick Lane, and now their serving everything from Marmite on toast to fluffy American pancakes.
