For three days only, Singapore’s famed Manhattan bar is taking over The Emin Room at 34 Mayfair to show London what it’s got.
Between March 27 and 29, the team at the award-winning Manhattan bar in Singapore will be mixing up some pretty special cocktails. The opulent Singaporean hotel bar has nabbed the top spot on the ‘Asia’s 50 Best Bars’ list for two years running, earned itself third place on the ‘World’s Best Bar’ list, and has been shortlisted for many other prestigious awards. It opened in 2014 and has since become known for its innovative and ambitious drinks menu, inspired by the 19th Century’s golden age of cocktails.
The pop-up, called 34 Singapore, will feature ten exclusive cocktails designed by Manhattan’s senior bartenders and 34 Mayfair’s team. They will include the Aviation, made with gin, maraschino, clarified lemon, crème de violette and sugar; the Kerman with tequila, pistachio orgeat and lime; and the Amelia with vodka, St Germain liqueur, lime, sugar and fresh blackberries.
It’s not all about the drinks, mind. 34 Mayfair’s head chef has also created an indulgent bar menu for the occasion, including Lobster mac with shaved truffle; a Buttermilk fried chicken burger with avocado and crispy bacon; and tacos with lobster, shrimp and passion fruit.
34 Singapore will be open from 5pm on Wednesday 27, Thursday 28 and Friday 29 March. To book a table, call 02033503434.
