Pizza provisions for our pandemic heroes.
Yard Sale Pizza has, in our minds, always been a pretty exceptional establishment and since they’ve started delivering free pizza to our truly incredible NHS staff, it’s fair to say that they have climbed even higher in our estimations!
Since the coronavirus outbreak, Yard Sale have been doing regular pizza drops to their local hospitals: Homerton, Whipps Cross, and The Royal London Hospital. In partnership with their supplier Salvo 1968, Yard Sale are planning to generously donate enough pizza to feed 1,000 NHS workers.
But they’re not satisfied with stopping there: aiming to feed a few extra people, Yard Sale launched an NHS Pizza Fund, with the hope that your donations would help them to feed 5,000 hungry NHS staff in the coming weeks.
The response has already been amazing. Since launching on Friday, public donations for the NHS pizza fund have already reached a whopping £10k. The scheme is 100% non-profit and any donations members of the public make will go solely towards Yard Sale getting pizza directly to NHS staff.
If you also fancy feeding the noble NHS with delicious slices of saucy pizza, then you can visit Yard Sale’s website and make a donation of £10, £20 or £50 through a dedicated page on their merch store. We really reckon it’s worth getting a slice of this action!
