This week the supermoon (which occurs when the earth and the moon are at the closest point apart) has been taking over everyone’s Instagram feed. Although last night was pretty cloudy across the UK (meaning that many amateur picture attempts were nothing more than fuzzy, glowing balls), there were still some incredible shots of the supermoon snapped up over London. If you missed the gorgeous sight yourself, you still have a chance to catch the moon in its tremendously large glory this evening. Or you can check out some of our favourite shots below. Until 2034, supermoon! (And for the smart Alecs amongst you – there will be another ‘official’ supermoon in December this year. But it won’t be quite as impressive)
