As January slowly (so slowly) comes to an end, there’s one event that many of us Londoners are itching to see return: the Six Nations. And the rugby championship is finally back! The first match kicks off today, Thursday, February 5, as France takes on Ireland at the Stade de France. Then on February 7, Italy will face off against Scotland at Stadio Olimpico, before England and Wales battle it out at Twickenham Stadium.
That means it’s high time to decide which pub you’re going to settle in at to catch all the action. Regardless of who you’re backing in this year’s championship, there’s one thing we can all agree on: there’s nothing like watching with a big group of fans. Fortunately, plenty of London venues are screening the action. So here are our picks for some of the best places in London to watch the Six Nations 2026.

Gather your friends at Flat Iron Square. This live sports and entertainment venue offers plenty of beers on tap and the iconic 16-metre jumbotron, promising a view from every corner of the venue. Plus, a DJ and live music sets to keep the energy high and the party going for the big matches and group celebrations. This year, you can watch all the Six Nations games across 19 screens and transfer into the ultimate sports zone.

Six Nations viewing and London’s biggest sports bar is an obvious combination, right? And it’s made even more obvious with every single match being shown live on massive ultra HD screens around the venue. Plus, they’re debuting the filthy-sounding Guinness kebab, wrapped up in black flatbread and topped with a white garlic sauce, to resemble a pint of the black stuff.
Young’s Pubs

Now, it might be a bit of a cheat to recommend an entire pub chain, but there’s a reason for it. We’ve got two words for you: FREE GUINNESS. Across select Young’s pubs, complimentary pints await groups of 4-10 that book in to dine and watch the Six Nations matches. Well, that’s the first round in – who’s up next after that? (Psst… There’s even a Guinness-inspired Scotch egg on the menu!)
Hackney Bridge

If you’re looking for the ultimate combination of drinks, street food, and sports bar vibes, all by the water, then Hackney Bridge is the spot. The venue boasts “several indoor screens, multiple bars, and some of the capital’s best independent food traders under one roof.” And when it’s all over, you can head to Nico’s, Hackney Bridge’s late-night speakeasy, to carry on the celebrations into the night.
Daffodil Mulligan

This charming Irish bar and restaurant in East London is providing perfect pints and plenty of craic throughout the Six Nations. They’ll be screening all the Ireland games throughout the venue, with all fixtures screening downstairs at Gibney’s during opening hours. Plus, there’s an impressive food menu from Richard Corrigan to complement your spirited match viewing.
Big Penny Social

For huge community vibes in an enormous venue, head to this giant Walthamstow beer hall. They’re showing all the weekend games between February 5 – March 14, and the giant screens in the beer hall are the perfect way to catch every try. Plus, there’s plenty of delicious beer and scran available to keep you fed and watered.
The Falcon

This Clapham pub has one over the rest of the city’s boozers: they’ve actually partnered with Guinness for their Six Nations screenings. Head to this enormous sports pub for flowing pints (with your face in the foam), and a Six Nations playground that’s taken over the beer garden. With multiple large screens scattered around, you can expect an electric matchday atmosphere.
Greenwood Sports Bar & Kitchen

Here’s another sports-viewing hotspot in London that’s partnered up with Guinness to make the experience even more electric. As well as all the Six Nations screenings and match-day specials (Guinness Gravy Burger, anyone?), Greenwood will host an interactive rugby toss challenge. All participants will receive a free pint of Guinness just for taking part, as well as hopefully winning exclusive merch!
The Broadcaster

Elevated bar snacks, bookable private screening rooms, and all matches being shown live, what more could you ask for? How about a “Split the G” promotion that rewards successful participants with a free pint? Finally, those hours practising at the local will come in handy.
Kerb Social Club

Here’s another Six Nations viewing spot with plenty of food and drink options to suit everyone. Kerb Social Club will provide a raucous “big-game atmosphere” as they screen every Six Nations fixture live. Match it with some award-winning street food from one of the traders, and some match-day drinks specials, and you’ve got a recipe for a great day out.
The Garden Gate

If you’re in North London and you’re looking for one of the best beer gardens in the area to watch the Six Nations, this is the spot. Combining history (pouring pints since the 19th century), a stunning location (next to Hampstead Heath) and screens filling the outdoor area, this spot will impress everyone.
The Lighterman

For a slightly more relaxed option to take in the Six Nations action, why not head to Granary Square’s The Lighterman? From a tranquil canalside spot, you can catch the Six Nations action in a laid-back atmosphere with waterside views.
The Ship

Here’s another gorgeous little waterside spot that fits any casual pub drinking session as much as it does Six Nations viewings. The riverside location in Wandsworth makes for a gorgeous little spot to scrum up with your mates and watch the rugby.
Vinegar Yard

Big screens, stunning pizza, serious sarnies, and juicy burgers in a fully heated and covered courtyard venue right next to London Bridge station? Honestly, it’s almost like Vinegar Yard was custom-designed to be the perfect spot for Six Nations viewings this winter.
Hope & Anchor

This brilliant Brixton pub is a must-visit for your winter rugby watching. There are 24 screens scattered around the venue and heated sports huts to keep you toasty as you keep up with all of the action. Just try to tear yourself away from this spot when the game is over…
