Stay home, stay safe and stay FIT with these incredible live streamed home workouts!
It is so important for everyone to stay at home during this lockdown period, but it’s also important to keep as fit and active as possible while you do so. We know it’s tempting to just hop from bed to couch and back again when you’re working from home, but actually sitting down all day can leave you feeling tired and drained. A regular dose of exercise on the other hand, can do wonders for both your physical and mental health! That’s why we’ve decided to keep active with you with Secret London Sweats, our new fitness series— now on Week 3!
Secret London Sweats will bring you free, live streamed home workouts that you can do in your living room— no equipment or experience necessary! And for the next few weeks we’re joining forces with London-based fitness brand PSYCLE to bring you the most incredible series of boutique exercise classes that are guaranteed to get you sweating (in a good way, we promise). Each week will focus on strengthening and toning a different area of the body. Week 1 was all about that core, whilst the second week focused on some lower body action – for Week 3, we’ll be focusing on the arms and upper body.
The home workouts will be streamed every Monday, Wednesday and Friday via Instagram Live and are suitable for all abilities – this week, the Monday session is at 11am, whilst Wednesday and Friday sessions will begin at 1pm. This Monday marks the start of Week 3: Upper Body Series. These 30-minute workouts will all target your arms, shoulders, and core, but they’ll all do so in completely different ways.
Monday’s challenging Upper Body HIIT with Kevin McGuire will tone your arms and ignite your metabolism. In Wednesday’s Abs & Arms Barre you’ll fire up those delts in an incredible barre workout with Josh Edgington. And on Friday, Alana Murrin will lead you through a dynamic Arm Balances Yoga Flow.
Tempted to dust off your gym clothes and roll out that yoga mat? Secret London Sweats with PSYCLE starts Week 3 this Monday so get ready to head over to our Instagram page and work up a sweat with us! And keep an eye on our Insta for further details about our Week 4 timetable.
Go on, make a little time in your lunch break to look after yourself: you deserve it. Just half an hour of exercise to get your blood flowing will help you beat that afternoon slump— you’ll be amazed by how energised you feel.
