It’s just been confirmed that West End LIVE will be returning to Trafalgar Square this summer, bringing to London the biggest free musical theatre festival in all of Europe.
An open-air theatre will arrive in Trafalgar Square, where tens of thousands of fans will get a taste of the best of the best that the West (End) has to offer. More than 50 performances will pack the schedule over the weekend-long event. There’ll be crowd favourites, West End classics, and new hit shows. West End royalty usually host the event, guiding the audience through the whirlwind of song and dance. Last year’s event, for example, was hosted by West End legends, Mazz Murray, Bradley Jaden, Cedric Neal and Zizi Strallen.
The full 2025 line up won’t be released until May, but if the past few years are anything to go by, it will be simply *chef’s kiss*. Visitors can probably expect to see top-notch performances from the classic crowd pleasers such as Hamilton, Six the Musical, Les Misérables, and The Book of Mormon. And last year, there wer also performances from the likes of Heathers The Musical, Standing At The Sky’s Edge, Cabaret, and the meanest musical on the block; Mean Girls. Regardless of wether you’re the ultimate fan, or a newcomer to the scene, you won’t want to miss out on West End LIVE 2025.
You don’t even need a ticket: just turn up on the day, or both days, and take in the world-class performances. BSL interpreters will also be on hand to ensure that everyone enjoys the show.
