If you’re feeling supersonic at the prospect of an Oasis reunion, you might have already been getting prepared for your stay in the capital to catch the shows before they’ve even gone on sale.
Following the announcement that the Gallagher brothers would be playing shows together once again, the internet has been gripped by frenzy and fret; experiencing elation at the reunion and sheer panic about getting tickets and somewhere to stay on the night of shows.
And, mere hours after the shows were announced, research conducted by QR Code Generator has revealed that Google searches for ‘Wembley Hotels’ have skyrocketed by 2,757% worldwide – more than 28 times the average search volume. Similar searches will no doubt be taking place for their shows across the UK & Ireland, with shows poised to sell out interest amid fans travelling from around the world to see the gigs.
Oasis will be playing a string of four dates in the capital at Wembley Stadium, with shows on July 25-26 & August 2-3 already announced. They will also play multiple dates in Edinburgh, Dublin, a set of four homecoming shows at Manchester’s Heaton Park and a pair of dates in Cardiff to mark their first live performances since 2009.
Despite the hotel rooms inevitably already being booked up fast, the hardest part of this all will no doubt be securing a ticket to the show itself, with a Britpop battle commencing on Saturday. Godspeed and good luck to Oasis fans young and old who will be virtually scrapping over a spot in the stadium.
Tickets for Oasis in 2025 go on sale on August 31 at 9am UK time.
