Weezer have a healthy handful of records that go toe-to-toe with any alt-rock band of the last 30 years. So, it’s always a treat when they come over to the capital, which they’ll be doing next year as part of ‘The Worldwide Tour’ next year.
Playing at Alexandra Palace on Saturday, May 22, 2027, Weezer will perform their first London headline show in almost three years, with their last being an O2 Arena co-headline gig with The Smashing Pumpkins.
Joining them for all the European dates are emo titans Taking Back Sunday, who are currently celebrating 20 years of their record, Louder Now.
Weezer will also play UK dates in Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Birmingham, and Cardiff, with the tour following the release of their upcoming album, Weezer (Gold Album). It’s their 20th studio album, following SNZ: Winter in 2022, the final instalment of their four seasons of releases that year.
