Musicians are constantly flocking to Manchester given its reputation, which means we’re spoilt for choice when it comes to gigs. Now, modern R&B icon Jorja Smith has announced a very special set of intimate shows to celebrate the release of her upcoming album, including a gig at Circuit in Kingston on August 27.
These unique events celebrate the release of her new album What Are the Odds featuring sole production from P2J and collaborations with Afrobeat star Wizkid and Grime icon Devlin, which is due to be released on August 22.
With her third album ‘What Are The Odds’, Jorja continues to build on her legacy with a euphoric offering rooted firmly in dance music. Confidently channelling UKG, Grime, 2Step, Funky House, Soulful House and Afro House, this thrilling, pulsating record rarely dips below 140 BPM.

Jorja Smith will be performing songs from the new album, plus old favourites for her dedicated fans alongside a DJ. Think the likes of Little Things, Teenage Fantasy and Be Honest, accompanied by some precious new material.
It comes right after Jorja Smith headlines All Points East festival in London alongside Tems on Friday, August 21.
Speaking about her upcoming album, Jorja said: “This is music to make you move […] I want people to hear it on the dancefloor, where the sun is shining, in the car and in their headphones on the night bus home. This is a record for driving and vibing.”
