Wednesday is in the top three most-watched Netflix shows of all time, and its long-awaited second season is finally upon us. From tomorrow (August 6), fans will be able to binge part one (four episodes) of the next chapter, with the second half dropping a month later on September 3.
For those who are sat twiddling their thumbs between these releases, unaware of how to fill the want to fill the void of sardonic remarks and spooky activity in the world created by Tim Burton, you can head out on a Wednesday-themed boat cruise in London this month.

On August 20, the ‘Outcastaway Cruise’ will set sail across the River Thames for 90-minute tours all inspired by Wednesday. Running four different sessions (and completely free of charge), the cruise will be a ‘gothic voyage through London’s darker past, where the water runs deep and the humour runs dry’. The boat will leave Butler’s Wharf Pier at 9:30am, 1pm, 4:30pm, and 8pm, and hopefuls can register for up to 4 tickets online.
On top of all the learnings on the murky past, passengers on the cruise will be treated to plenty of entertainment on board. Try a taster of the ice cream (which is dressed all in black, Wednesday Addams-style) before getting your photo ops in on the kitted-out ship. Deadpan expressions are encouraged.
If you don’t manage to pick up a ticket online, there will also be a number of spots available for walk-ins on the day, so dress like it’s your first day at Nevermore Academy and get in line!
The Outcastaway Cruise takes place on August 20, running across four sessions, all free of charge. You can register for a space here. (Please note: Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult).
