Once the sun comes out, the opportunities across the city become endless. Once you need a break from the ‘sitting in the sun’ part, you can’t beat a ‘potter around’, with an outdoor flea market ticking the boxes of perusing unusual items all in one space.
The Walthamstow Spring Flea lands back in the city on May 18, hitting the perfect pre-summer sweet spot and bringing its usual array of activities for London to enjoy through a long Sunday.
Walthamstow Spring Flea
Between 11am – 5pm, you’ll be treated to a treasure trove of items at Big Penny Social, with over 60 hand-picked flea and vintage traders on hand to offer up their pre-loved goods to a flurry of Londoners on a (hopefully) beautiful late-spring, early-summer afternoon. With everything from antique furniture to retro homeware to lovable artefacts, you can haggle some deals to have your homes looking glammed up and well cared for. Once you’ve got the home decorations locked in, you can browse old electrical items, vintage clothes and much more to polish off your days.
Once you’ve picked up your favourite new trinkets at Walthamstow Flea, you can stick around at their onsite bar and restaurant to ensure you live with a stomach as full as your tote bag and your thirst thoroughly quenched. There will also be a Soundsystem blaring the tunes all day, meaning you can stay to relax or boogie throughout the day in a welcoming atmosphere at Big Penny Social after your bargains have been secured.
Walthamstow Spring Flea lands at Big Penny Social on May 18 between 11am – 5pm, and you can find it at Big Penny Social, 1 Priestley Way, E17 6AL (nearest station is Blackhorse Road). You can find out more at the event page, and book tickets here.
