Secret London Is Hiring… A Video Intern! (Paid)

We are looking for a London-based, entry-level videographer, to join the Secret London team for a 4-month-long internship at our headquarters in Camden Lock.

Working within a fun, dynamic and fast-growing start-up, this new role provides an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to showcase their skills to a large and highly engaged audience. We’re looking for someone who can create fizzy, distinctive videos about London life that make a big impact online.

Fever is the leading entertainment discovery platform, with a mission to inspire people through experiences. We are looking for bar-raisers that want to work hard, have fun and make history with us. Fever combines its marketplace and Secret Media Network (Secret London, Secret NYC, Madrid Secreto, Paris Secret, etc) through technology to reach over 15 million people per week.

Fever has also rolled out the Fever Originals, which are proprietary events in which we follow a data-driven content creation strategy, using analytics to understand audiences and develop new experiences.

Fever is present in London, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Lisbon, and Spain, and is in process of expanding to new markets. Fever is also backed by top-notch institutional investors, including Atresmedia, Accel Partners, Lab-Tech, and 14W Ventures.

Responsibilities

Attending events and venues and capturing beautiful, inspiring footage using the equipment provided (sometimes out of regular business hours)
Editing material to a high standard, captivating, shareable final cuts in various formats
Building graphics and sourcing music to create fully crafted video from start to finish, with an eye for editorial voice, fonts, brand colours and current video trends/styles
Applying colour grading, SFX, sound mixing and other post-production techniques using Premiere + After Effects

Your talents

Solid understanding of Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Media Encoder and other editing packages
Multiple camera knowledge and operation – ideally Sony a7s / a7III
A natural flair for visual storytelling, you know how to structure edits and order shots to keep viewers engaged
A fluent English writer, you’re comfortable writing your own witty and informative captions
A decent grasp of the digital publishing landscape, changing trends in online video
Warm and professional, you make a positive addition to the team
Passionate about discovering the coolest happenings in London

Requirements for this role

UK working visa, and based in London
Ability to work flexible hours from time to time
A recent showreel demonstrating your work
A covering letter that explains why you’re a great fit for the job
