THAT IS A DAMN FINE CUP OF COFFEE.
A Twin Peaks diner experience is hitting London this June, meaning you can pop in and do an unbearably grating impression of Dale Cooper with no one telling you off. And isn’t that just the dream? For one day and one day only, you can live that dream with the theme tune playing around your head.
Of course, it’ll also be a chance to pay tribute by toasting said damn fine cups of coffee to the late, great David Lynch, the director of the show who passed away earlier this year.

MUBI is running the pop-up immersive Double R Diner experience, based around the diner that was featured in the original Twin Peaks [1990] and Twin Peaks: A Limited Event Series [2017]. It comes as the platform welcomes the show, and fans will be able to order up cups of coffee and slices of pie to their heart’s content on June 18 in Stoke Newington‘s New River Café.
The café will be joining forces with food and drink duo MamSham as well as agency Hot Sauce Presents to deliver a drop-in experience all day, where diners at the space tucking into their treats will have the chance to win limited edition Twin Peaks items. It marks 35 years since the show was first released, and pays tribute to all its eccentricities, oddballs, and surreal elements that continue to capture fans.
The ‘Twin Peaks’ diner experience lands at Stoke Newington’s New River Café on Wednesday, June 18, between 11am – 7pm. It lasts for one day, and one day only. Mubi will also be teaming up at the ‘Gathering of the Angels: A Tribute and Celebration of the world of David Lynch’, which takes place at the end of September at Genesis Cinema.
