This Tugboat Has Been Sailing The Thames Whilst Playing ‘Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life’

Keeping one’s spirits up has been a tad harder of late, so any little nuggets of whimsy have got to be pounced on whenever they appear. Thankfully, Twitter makes this job a little easier, and its latest gift is a video of a tugboat chugging up the Thames, whilst merrily blasting out ‘Always Look on the Bright Side of Life’ from Monty Python’s Life of Brian. So, if you happened to be within earshot of the Thames this morning, this would be the reason why you can’t stop whistling the song. Personally, I’d quite like to see this happen more often, perchance with some sort of floating song barge traversing the length and breadth of the Thames each day. I’d certainly class that as an essential service…
