Prost to Truman’s Social Club!
When it comes to celebrating Oktoberfest, it’s safe to say you’re probably want a pretty f**cking big beer hall for all the shenanigans that take place. So, the largest one in the UK is probably just what the doctor ordered… maybe.
In the tip-top hall, you’ll be transported into a Munich-themed beer hall, complete with litre-full steins of Bavarian lager. So much lager.
It’s perhaps the finest way to feel like you’ve gone abroad this October, when in reality you’ve just hopped off the train in north London to step out of the drizzle and into the party. Be sure to come kitted out in the lederhosen and your dancing shoes, as plenty of tunes will fill your ears upon arrival.
As you dance the “Schuhplattler” to their live DJs and brass band – including Das Brasss – you may also find yourself feeling rather peckish. And given that the grub during Oktoberfest is a preeeetty vital component, you’ll be relieved to know that your stomachs won’t be left rumbling at Truman’s event.
Tuck into plenty of traditional German dishes, including the classic Bratwurst but also a plate of roasted pork knuckles, just like you’d find at a quintessential Bavarian beer hall.
If this event feels right up your straße, then be sure to grab hold of a ticket for £25. That price will guarantee you a free Stein of lager upon arrival. Slots run from 7.30-11.30pm on Friday, October 8 and 1-5pm and 7.30-11.30pm on Saturday, October 9, and you can get your space here.
