Most of you will at least be vaguely aware of how The Masked Singer works, be it through the vast numbers of clips posted online or through tuning in to catch it.
Basically, a set of celebrities each perform songs, only there’s a small catch. You don’t know who they are, as… well, the name explains it — they’re behind a silly mask.
The judges then will have then have a crack at guessing who the mysterious singers are, and the studio crowd will be tasked with eliminating a star from the competition before their identity is revealed.
And you’ll have the chance to see all this unfold on two different occasions in London this spring. The Masked Singer rolls into town at The O2 on April 3, bringing Jonathan Ross along to judge the show, and Wembley Stadium on April 18 with Davina McCall in the hot seat.
Both guest judges will appear alongside Joel Dommett, who presents the show, as well as Denise Van Outen and Aston Merrygold.
Past contestants on The Masked Singer have included Nicola Roberts as a Queen Bee, Jason Manford as a hedgehog, Joss Stone as a sausage, Ne-Yo as a badger and many more, so you can expect a hell of a live show when the show comes to our ends.
The best way to find out who the masked singers are this year? Alongside the live audience at the the O2 (April 3) or Wembley Stadium (April 18), of course! It’s the first time the show has ever taken to the stage in the UK, and the show will also be hitting other locations including Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham.
