If you’ve ever wanted to eat like Spider-Man, aka Zendaya’s husband, aka Tom Holland, then you’re in luck. The London native isn’t shy about sharing his picks and his favourite spots in the city. And there are plenty of hidden gems to be found in his recommendations. Recently, the Hollywood star revealed one of his favourite places to eat when he’s home, and it’s a proper neighbourhood spot.
While making pizza with Matt Damon (as we’ve all done casually) and being interviewed by the New York Times, Tom Holland revealed one of his favourite places to eat in London. It’s none other than Kingston pub, The Cocoanut, which serves up “vibrant, authentic flavours” from its “little Thai kitchen”.

While Damon and Holland topped their pizzas, the duo was asked: ‘If you were to show each other around your hometowns, where’s the first place you’d eat?’ And Tom Holland, who was famously born in Kingston upon Thames, had to shine a spotlight on a local family favourite.
Said Tom Holland:
“There’s a pub in Kingston called The Cocoanut. It’s a Thai restaurant. You can bring your dogs there. And people just let their dogs off, so it becomes like a dog free-for-all. Wally is the lady that runs the pub, and it’s like a bit of a family favourite of ours.”
The third-generation, family-run business offers up food that, in their own words, “promises to delight your senses”. But it’s not just a spot for food. The Cocoanut is very much a local pub – just as well suited for a few casual drinks as a relaxed dinner. Just be sure not to bring anyone who doesn’t like dogs!
