If you’re a faithful follower of Secret London, it’s highly likely that your notes app is already bursting at the seams with bars, bistros, and boozers to visit. But we’d highly recommend you making space to squeeze another entry onto that lengthy list of yours – because Dua Lipa has recently revealed her favourite spots in the city to eat, drink, and be oh-so merry. And a gorgeous gastropub in Fitzrovia managed to earn itself a sought-after seat at the table.
Lore of the Land
Perched at the very top of the official list of Lipa-loved London locales (blimey, try saying that after you’ve had a pint in each of them) is Lore of the Land. This traditional British boozer is owned by Hollywood hotshot, Guy Ritchie – and it spans three floors; each of which is filled to the brim with character and cosiness.

The building itself dates back to the 1700s, and there’s supposedly been a pub found inside it since 1829. So whilst it’s only existed in its current form since Ritchie snapped up the site in 2018; the historic hotspot has plenty of tales to tell.
The pub boasts a rustic copper and pewter-topped bar, plenty of cosy nooks and crannies, and according to Dua Lipa – the sort of atmosphere that ‘makes you want to cancel your plans and stay all afternoon’. There’s an impressive selection of drinks to choose from, with craft beers and a ‘considered’ wine list. And the walls are lined with an eclectic array of artwork, so there’s plenty of gorgeous things to gawp at whilst you sip, snack, and socialise.
Upstairs you’ll find a restaurant serving up a scrumptious selection of seasonal small plates, sharing boards, and a sensational Sunday roast (for which bookings are apparently snapped up at the rate of Oasis tickets). The food is cooked in an open kitchen on a bespoke charcoal oven and grill, and the menu is packed full of delicious dishes that are definitely a cut above your average pub grub.
The vibes seem pretty darn immaculate, to be quite honest with you. And look, if it’s good enough for Dua, it’s most certainly good enough for me.
