Faithful fanatics of the fab four, gather round. A new museum dedicated entirely to one of the most beloved bands of all time will be swinging open its doors in London next year. Where, I hear you ask? The very same spot in which they played their last ever public performance, of course.
The Beatles at 3 Savile Row
The Beatles at 3 Savile Row will do what it says on the tin, to be quite honest with you. 3 Savile row is the former headquarters of The Beatles’ record label, Apple Corps. And it was atop this very building that The Beatles played their renowned rooftop concert back in 1969 (and inside it that they recorded their final building, Let It Be). Apple Corps recently reacquired the iconic building and are set to transform it into the first official Beatles fan experience.
The museum will be filled to the brim with music, material, and memorabilia. Set to span seven floors inside the legendary Georgian townhouse in Mayfair, the attraction is certainly going for the more-is-more approach.
The opening of the museum was announced on Instagram today, accompanied with minimal information. All we know is that it’s going to open inside the Grade II listed building next year, bursting at the seams with Beatles-based magic. And what more could we ask for, hey?
The Beatles at 3 Savile Row is set to open its doors next year but no specific dates have yet been announced. You can keep an eye on the official website for updates.
