Steven Wilson has just announced his only two live shows for the whole of 2026, which come in the form of a pair of gigs at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday, October 28 and Thursday, October 29. For both shows, the artist will be supported by the Parallax Orchestra.
It follows his most recent album, The Overview, which came out last year, and the shows will see him perform it in an expanded version that has not been seen before.

Announcing the news of the shows on Instagram, Steven Wilson said: “I’ll be returning to my favourite venue the [Royal Albert Hall] in London on 28th & 29th October 2026 for two very special nights. These will be my only live shows of the year, and they will feature an expanded version of The Overview performed with the Parallax Orchestra and choir.”
As he alludes to in the post, it’s something of a special venue for the artist, and the first show will mark his seventh time appearing on stage at the iconic space.
The Overview is Steven Wilson’s eighth studio album as a solo artist, though he’s also known as the founding member of progressive rock band, Porcupine Tree. His last UK shows came in the form of a double-header at the London Palladium in May last year.
